Helping our patients maintain an optimal oral health is the main goal of general dentistry. We prefer to provide minor, preventive care than to see patients suffer from more intensive treatments for a problem that was not managed in time. We want to ensure that your smile is at its healthiest, and to positively contribute to your entire body’s health. We are here to brighten your smile and pave the way for a brighter life.
Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time. We do offer a variety of payment plans or financing options for patients without insurance.
Dentures are removable oral appliances used to replace multiple missing teeth. If you are missing some or all of your teeth, dentures might be just what you need to restore the function, beauty and health of your smile. We offer both complete and partial dentures based on the needs of your smile.
Dental Implants & All-on-X
Dental implants replace the entire structure of your tooth from root to crown. These complete artificial teeth mean you can speak clearly, eat comfortably, and smile confidently without worrying about an uncomfortable, artificial-looking restoration. Dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that prevents tissue loss in the jaw.
Crowns & Bridges
Using advanced dental technology, our doctors can examine your tooth to assess the damage and determine the appropriate treatment. Our dentist can create and place your crown in a single visit. If you have multiple missing or damaged teeth, we may recommend a dental bridge to restore your smile.
Extractions
If you have an infected, damaged tooth or overcrowded teeth, tooth removal may be your best treatment option. Advanced tooth extraction techniques are quick and painless so we can improve your oral health comfortably and conveniently. We also offer wisdom tooth removal.
Restorative Dentistry
A tooth infection can cause severe pain. Left untreated, decay can lead to tooth loss and other issues. Our doctors use modern root canal techniques, as well as local anesthesia, to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during your endodontic procedure.
Cavity Treatment & Fillings
A dental filling is used to repair minor tooth damage. We may recommend a filling if a tooth has been damaged by decay, has a cavity, or suffers from minor fracturing or chipping. The filling is used to restore the tooth to its original structure and function, and return your smile to good health.
If you are suffering a dental emergency, call our office. We offer urgent dental care for you and your family, same-day appointments when possible, along with pain-free dental procedures.
Broken or Chipped Teeth, Wisdom Teeth, Same-Day Visits
My whole family have been under the great care of Dr. Avner and his practice for 9 years. From the routine dental cleaning to major complex restorative dental work, him and Mariya have done diligent and fabulous work during each visit. They took time during each visit to provide education on how to build and maintain healthy habits, as well as recommending preventative measures to avoid long term health risks arise from poor dental health. Moving across the country is the only reason that we are sadly leaving Dr. Avner’s office. I would highly recommend the Great Smile of NY be your next and long term family dental provider.
